REAL WEDDING - KAREN & PAUL

We promised you the "full" SugarLove real wedding story from Karen & Paul's day and here it is...To say we were thrilled with a 10page story and highlight feature in the new look book for Wedding Style Guide would be an understatement. Today we are excited to also share the wedding online at legendary US Blog Style Me Pretty. This is our own gallery of favourite images from their wedding day. A picture perfect December day on Sydney Harbour. Sweet Karen in custom dress by Jenet Zaiter and shoes by Peeptoe.
The couples beloved puppies make a visit on the wedding day.
The Tea Room Gunners Barracks was chosen as the venue for the day.
A beaming groom (Paul) mingles with guests pre ceremony below.
Plenty of soda and ice creams were on hand for a light summer snack.
Karen & Paul worked on all the design elements of their day with two of their dearest friends. Yellow was the main colour featured throughout. The terrace overlooking the harbour was charming with patterned bunting.
The courtyard was transformed into a rustic dreamland with glass bottles of wildflowers hanging amongst the bunting overhead. A close friend sang a love song as Karen was escorted down the aisle by her father, Phil.
The couple arranged for her father to officiate the ceremony as a surprise.
An emotional service was enjoyed by their closest family & friends.
Peep Toe shoes make a sweet statement against the floral dress sash.
A vintage typewriter was used by guests to leave special notes for the couple.
The oversize yellow balloons were the perfect prop for funloving Karen & Paul.
Just enough wind for a good grip - any more they would have floated away.
Two of our favourite pics of the day are featured below.
Grooms suit by Conte Tailoring, Bridesmaid skirts by Cue & tops by Jenet Zaiter.
Grooms colourful socks make a sneak appearance during the photo shoot.
Time to party for the couple & their guests in Mosman.
Guests enjoy a game of bocce before dinner at The Tearooms.
Please "take a bunch" book tags. Stationery handmade by the bride.
Karen visited the flower markets for fresh flowers & lemons. Flowers were by Jodie.
Mini round blackboards popping out of the top of bright yellow lemons used as place settings. Simple hessian was used as table runners as the long tables.
The old typewriter was used to remind guests that they were finally ready to "eat, drink & be married". Simple & sweet - perfectly suited for the couple.
A toast & the couples friend singing on the wedding day.
The hanging glass bottles look equally as charming under the moonlight.
The couple chose a delicious cake made from their favourite cheeses.
Make sure you scroll down to view our White Designs video showcasing a sneak peek from the cinema footage on their wedding day.
Truly one of my favourite weddings of 2010, we would love to wish Karen & Paul the very best for their future lives together. Thank you for choosing us to cover your day xx
