ALICE & ADAM REAL WEDDING

We could not have imagined a better way to finish 2009 than being chosen for the December cover of Award Winning Australian Magazine, Real Weddings. The beautiful Alice graces their end of year issue published yesterday nationally. Photographed by our Principal Photographer, Bradley Patrick his ability to capture the country charm & perfect light was one of the main reasons SugarLove were chosen to record all their precious memories from the day.
Alice & Adam were married in the rustic surrounds of Collector near Goulburn in rural NSW.
Poppies for Grace designed the vintage inspired stationery. Alice was dressed in a gorgeous Monique Lhuillier gown from Helen Rodrigues designed with sage green sash and elegant white headband. The couples ceremony took place in a local chapel.
The bridal bouquets included fragrant white roses, lilies, hyacinths and lisianthus. The bridesmaids wore pretty metallic silver dresses with black sashes.
The couple share their first kiss as husband & wife with family & friends.
The cafe chosen for the marquee reception was Lynwood Cafe a sentimental choice given Alice's late mother had always said it would make the perfect location for a wedding. The couple agreed and provided their guests with the perfect excuse for a weekend away.
Adam & his groomsmen wore morning suits with soft grey waistcoats and patterned ties - perfect tones for the countryside locale.
Growing up in country NSW himself was an added bonus for Photographer, Bradley who worked his magic with the relaxed settings.
SugarLove create another signature image for Alice & Adam to cherish.
Our cover girl Alice with gorgeous white florals in full bloom by Seed Flora.
Following the photo shoot drinks and canapes were enjoyed by the river and replaced a formal sit down entree. Handwritten chalkboards displayed the menu for the evening.
Hundreds of oversized lanterns were hung from the trees & fence posts and scattered near wooden wine barrels, hay stacks and garden chairs.
The couple chose several long tables inside the marquee for guest seating. Fresh green and white table runners & overflowing white glasshouse chrysanthemums were placed in handmade rustic fench paling flower boxes on the tables.
Vintage style luggage tags were printed with guest names using a simple typewritter style and were tied with black ribbon to crisp white napkins.
Black tiffany chairs were used throughout the marquee. Funktionality Event Management were in charge of the Reception Decorations/Styling and Goulburn Party Hire engaged for local supplies and installations.
Cake Boutique, Goulburn made the pretty cake decorated with striped ribbon to match the table runners and soft pastel icing flowers.
Thank you to the incredible editorial team at Real Weddings for choosing our work to feature on the cover & inside their new December issue. The images and layout look beautiful and we are thrilled to share the work. But finally thank you to Alice & Adam for allowing us to share their day, we were thrilled to be chosen for you wedding photography & hope our images bring you many moments of happiness together, SugarLove x

WOOLLAHRA SHOWROOM PARTY

After months of dreaming of our Grand Opening Showroom Party we finally broke open the champagne and celebrated in style with 60 guests on Tuesday 24th November in Woollahra.
Rouba & her wonderful team from The Style Salon decorated our exterior with seagrass matting, wooden hurricane lanterns and white rose bushes.
The amber crystal door handle on our front door is one of the original features we kept prior to our shop design. Olive trees regularly sit outside the door to greet guests & soften the entrance.
Photographer/Director Bradley Patrick enjoys a pre-party champagne with our studio manager Prue and Photographer, Lauren on Moncur Street. Taittinger were our main sponsor for the evening - a favorite of the SugarLove family.
Our window photography features the country wedding of clients Ros & Blake who stopped by for a viewing. Their wedding was featured in Bride to Be Magazine. We wish you the very best for the arrival of your first baby x
SugarLove/White clients Libby & Luke Trickett and Brianna Koch with husband CJ Jayasinghe join us in Woollahra to celebrate and toast together.
Candlelight softens the front window display and our main showroom chandelier provides a delicate ambient light for guests inside. The team from Wedding List Co enjoy their visit.

Bradley catches up with some dear friends & SugarLove clients - Megan Drummond with husband Michael.
