Sometimes choosing just one location for your ceremony & reception celebrations provides the best of both worlds for the big day. SugarLove clients, Jodi & Jonathan found the perfect Palm Beach cottage for both their "i-do" and their ongoing celebrations. Bride to Be Magazine featured a lovely 4 page story on their day in their current November issue.
After meeting in the Greek Islands, Jodi & Jonathan wanted to capture the same feeling with gorgeous water views on their big day. Adding white & silver details and delicate ivory/pink roses for the ceremony & bridal bouquet, the styling touches at Bay Cottage, Palm Beach were both subtle & personal on the wedding day.
The girls got ready at the private residence on the day & Jodi surprised her bridesmaids with crystal earrings to wear with their grecian inspired apricot dresses from Bardot.
The bride wore a stunning Lisa Gowing gown in ivory silk with a moulded sequined bodice.
Jodi hand made most of the thoughtful decorations for the day which included cute letters that hung above their bridal table and turkish delight favors wrapped in fuchsia coloured cellophane. Hidden inside was a baby-pink coloured guitar pick with the words "Jodi picked Jon" - a homage to Jon's love of guitar.
The couples flower girls Lily & Sabrina showered the way with petals to the gorgeous Pittwater ceremony.
Soft pink & ivory flowers adorned the ceremony decking, a perfect backdrop for their "i do".
The couples vintage vespa was a nicely decorated mode of transport for the photo shoot.
The bride with her bridesmaid strike a pose into the sunset for our photographer Saffrine.
The Palm Beach jetty and beach were the chosen locations for the couples photo shoot.
The boathouse had just the right amount of character to frame the perfect bridal party shot.
Jodi purchased the vibrant fuchsia & tangerine dahlias for each table which were named with Greek Islands such as Paros, Ios and Milos. The couple chose a casual buffet table for dinner.
A relaxed, summery beach party vibe was enjoyed by the couples 50 guests. The two tiered chocolate mudcake with white chocolate ganache and marzipan icing was made by Batch Patisserie.
